Title:
Inconsistencies changing OCHTrail name of a WSON OCHNC promoted to OCHCC
Status: *
Terminated
Severity:
3 Moderate
Description: *

$$PREFCS

Symptom:
The GMPLS OCHTrail name in Prime Optical does not match the corresponding circuit name in CTC.

Conditions:
Select an OCHNC WSON circuit from CTC circuit tab pane and perform the upgrade to OCHCC operation (invoking "Tools -> Circuits -> Upgrade OCHNC" menu item)
The circuit is correctly upgraded; a confirmation message appears to notify that the operation is successfully completed; OCHNC circuit is turned into OCHTrail; the OCHCC part must be manually created.
From Prime Optical circuit table select the OCHTrail and modify the circuit name.
The circuit name is correctly updated but:
a) the OCHTrail circuit Status becomes "Partial" (in CTC is DISCOVERED);
b) the OCHTrail circuit Service State becomes empty, no value is shown (in CTC is locked[Partial]);
c) the OCHTrail Circuit Protection Type becomes "Unknown" (in CTC is SPLITTER).
Create now the OCHCC part of the GMPLS circuit.
The GMPLS OCHCC circuit part is correctly created but OCHTrail name in CPO does not match the corresponding circuit name in CTC

Workaround:
The workaround for this problem is to modify again the name.
