|
Status: | Fixed |
|
Severity: | 2 Severe |
Description: | Symptom: cts manual link does not come up between 3750 with 15.2(E) CCO image and any other macsec supported peer switch, unless "dot1x system-auth-control" global cli is configured on the 3750 switch.
Conditions: CTS manual links on 3750 switch without configuring "dot1x system-auth-control" global configuration. CTS manal link fails to come up, as the SAP negotiation fails to start due to the missing EAP ACL.

Bug Id: | CSCuo02910 | Title: | Large VTP Updates Fail on 3750-X |
|
Status: | Terminated |
|
Severity: | 3 Moderate |
Description: * | Symptom: 3750X switches running as a VTP Client will fail to update their VLAN database when changes are made on the VTP Server. Updates may never happen or take a very long time (several hours) to complete
Conditions: This behavior is observed when the VLAN database transmitted over VTP is fairly large, with each VLAN having a unique name. Smaller VLAN databases, or VLANs with shorter names are less likely to trigger this issue.
This will be observed when the link speed the 3750-X is receiving the updates on is a Gigabit or faster. Slower speeds, like 10 megabit, will not trigger this issue.
Workaround: Reduce the number of VLANs in use within VTP. Reduce the length of the names associated with a VLAN to a length less than 10 characters long. Lower the link speed between the VTP server and the 3750-X.
