Description: | Symptom: Problem description: VPLS traffic hit was observed for few VLANs in one direction on performing deletion and re-addition of End point EFPs, Real VPLS (With EFPs) and Dummy VPLS (Without EFPs) with PW class BFD timer 999 ms and 3.3ms
This traffic issue (traffic is not switched from switch fabric to core ports) was observed for VLAN 112
Reproducible: 3/4
Topology :
Node210 (4/3,7/1)--------(4/1,7/1)Node 32 (5/3,3/3)-------Node 77 (5/3,3/3)
Build : 9.705 FCS build
Conditions: Steps to reproduce: 1. Load the attached DB (Node-32;Node-77;Node-210) in all three nodes
DB contains the following configurations, 10 (5+5) VPLS circuits with BFDoVCCV timer 3.3 ms between Nodes 210 & 32 and Nodes 32 & 77 10 (5+5) VPLS circuits with BFDoVCCV timer 999 ms between Nodes 210 & 32 and Nodes 32 & 77
2. Verify bidirectional traffic and traffic was flowing successfully 3. Create 8 (4+4) Dummy circuits with BFD timer 3.3 ms and 999 ms 4. Delete EFP points for all 20 VPLS circuits completely 5. Then add EFP points for 8 (4+4) Dummy circuits alone 6. Delete and re-create real VPLS circuits randomly 7. Delete and re-create Dummy VPLS circuits randomly 8. Verify bidirectional traffic and traffic failure issue in one direction was observed
Workaround: Tunnel switchover by core port shut, lock out or PTF switchover
