Bug Id: | CSCuy14652 | Title: | Nexus VNE missing registration to update LAG status on-demand |
|
Status: | Fixed |
|
Severity: | 3 Moderate |
Description: | Symptom: When Ethernet aggregation link configured between Nexus devices is shut down for any reason, the Prime Network creates duplicate LAG link down tickets - one for each link endpoint.
Conditions: Ethernet aggregation link configured between Nexus devices.
Workaround: There is no workaround for this issue.
Further Problem Description: Root cause. Nexus VNE scheme is missing registration 'ce-ethernet-link-status-snmp' on Layer2Aggregation DC, which updates LAG interface status on-demand. The link negotiation process relies on this registration and, when missing, creates duplicate LAG link down tickets for each endpoint.

Severity: | 3 Moderate |
Description: | Symptom: Operations Report installation fails.
Conditions: Conditions: * Upgrade from 3.10 * Local HA setup * Disk partition labels of the format /name
Workaround: 1) Cluster should be running. 2) Fix /etc/cluster/cluster.conf by replacing string umount with unmount; then increase file version number. 3) Run ccs_tool update. 4) In the registry folder for PN; vi avm99.xml, find avm45, if found skip to step(6), if not found continue: find avm44, copy the 7 lines that define entry for avm44, duplicate it, and change the entry replacing 44 with 45 (two places). and set enable to false for the new entry which is for avm45. 5) Restart PN; check status, see that avm45 is disabled. 6) Replace the install script with the version attached to CDETS. 7) Take the install script /tmp/primenw_integration.pl (in your lab gw1 machine) and replace the script in the folder created on step( 5). 8) Run the installer script. 9) When message ?Waiting for cluster started? appears run the following on the second gateway: rm -rf /usr/local/infobright-4.0.7-x86_64/data ; ln -s /ibdata/ifb_datadir /usr/local/infobright-4.0.7-x86_64/data 10) Continue install as normal.

|
Status: | Open |
|
Severity: | 3 Moderate |
Description: |
Symptom: EFP Operational State is not updating when Bridge Shutdown in PN for PBB-VPLS.
Conditions: This problem is reported in PBB-VPLS Service. When we do Admin Shut to the I-Bridge from ASR9K-CN-ABR1, End-to-End Service went DOWN. CLI immediately reflected the status of I-Bridge went from Up to Admin Down. Using the regular Poll-Now Option in PN,went in PN's Edge-Bridge Container and checked the status of I-Bridge in PN after making the I-Bridge DOWN. But PN was showing the Admin as well as Operation State of I-Bridge as UP.Waited for 18 mins but then also the state of I-Bridge in PN was UP and no Alarms reflected in PN. Did Poll-Now manually for several times even then no change observed in PN's I-Bridge State. Restarted the VNE ASR9K-CN-ABR1, even then PN was showing the State of I-Bridge as UP.
