Field Notice: FN - 63949 - Cisco Catalyst 3650 T2 Series Stack Cable Might Cause Intermittent Link Failures - Replacement Required
Description:

Some faulty Cisco Catalyst 3650 T2 Series stack cables might cause intermittent link failures between the switch members or break the full ring. This might result in the loss of connectivity to both the primary and standby switches, which can result in a reset to the switch stack.

Description:

Symptom:
Catalyst 3650 switches connected back-to-back on uplink ports intermittently may fail and not establish valid macsec channel / bring port into up state.

Conditions:
3650 running 03.07.00E image with macsec configured on 10G SFP/10Gbps uplink.
This bug does not affect 3850, as well as 1Gbps uplink / 1G SFP in 10Gbps uplink.

Workaround:
1) shut/no-shut port
2) remove macsec from the port
